Dear mom and dad,
I just wanted to inform you that everything is going great here in France. I also wanted to tell you guys that I'm okay if you hear about the murdering in Paris a few days ago resulting in 12 deaths. I wasn't anywhere near but it was very unfortunate. Two Muslim extremist became very offended when a newspaper called the Charlie Hebdo put and picture of Muhammad into the journal. Which was very disrespectful to the Muslim community. The two men when to the editing building and left 12 employees of the newspaper and some police officers dead. The two men escaped and the police have many forces out to find them and bring them to justice. Hours after the attack a peaceful protest broke out in France, and the news of this attack has spread throughout the world.
The shooting happened in the 19th arrondissement.
Its very sad but I feel like people should be able to say what they want without the worry of getting killed but that's not possible in the world we live in. The editors should be kind and respectful and they know what people in the Muslim communities can do so they should have not provoked them. Even though it was very horrible that 12 people were killed because of there disrespect.
Besides that my vaction hass been amazing and Im in Capbreton in the south west of France and its very nice her, miss you both and hope to see you soon.
